Digital Marketer at Avid4 Adventure

As Avid4 Adventure’s Digital Marketer, you will become part of a team who all share the belief that participation in the outdoors has the power to transform kids’ lives. Our summer camps empower pre-K- 12th graders with the skills and confidence to live active, healthy lifestyles as they learn to paddle, bike, hike, climb and thrive in the outdoors. The Digital Marketer is responsible for creating the strategy and overseeing the execution of Avid4 Adventure’s lead nurturing campaigns and online presence. This primarily includes: management of HubSpot (marketing automation software), development and management of lead nurturing campaigns, email campaign strategy and execution, the Avid4 Adventure website, and SEO & PPC. You will also manage contract designers, copywriters, and agencies and work on a marketing team reporting to the SVP of New Business. The Digital Marketer is an integral part of our success in expanding Avid4 Adventure camps nationally and empowering kids to be active for life.

You truly get the Avid4 Adventure mission, and are able to compose effective lead nurturing campaigns that bring new customers into the Avid4 Adventure brand.

You Love Analytics

Marketing automation software is your best friend! You craft strategy and decisions around numerical results and look at the numbers constantly. You will be using Hubspot and data from our registration database to inform your strategy and optimize marketing campaigns.

You are a Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator

You will be managing designers, copywriters, and agencies to get your job done. We are a small marketing team, so having a solid team of contractors is essential. You are an excellent communicator and great at sharing a vision that others can translate into compelling marketing materials.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop Avid4 Adventure’s overall marketing strategy to achieve company’s revenue and enrollment goals for: day camps, overnight camp, school programs, merchandise and events. Avid4 Adventure will enroll 14,000+ customers in 2017 and is expanding nationally.
  • Develop digital strategy and budget for achieving Avid4 Adventure’s enrollment and revenue goals.
  • Develop lead nurturing campaigns and manage HubSpot to execute on those campaigns. Work with agency and Avid4 Adventure marketing team to create overall content strategy, set up marketing campaigns, segment customer lists, analyze campaign results, and modify campaigns to optimize conversion rates.
  • Work in partnership with SVP of Marketing to develop content strategy and manage execution of all Avid4 Adventure email campaigns.
  • Oversee the content strategy and performance of Avid4 Adventure’s website. Analyze website performance and optimize performance. Develop landing pages as needed. Lead annual improvements and enhancements to the website.
  • Manage SEO and PPC to continuously improve traffic and conversion rates. Ensure website is optimized for high ranking on relevant search results.
  • Hire and manage contract designers and copywriters as needed for the responsibilities listed above.
  • Manage web hosting vendor and other vendors that support digital marketing.
  • Other responsibilities directed by the SVP of Marketing as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • College Degree or above
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with HubSpot or similar marketing automation software
  • Significant experience conducting lead nurturing campaigns with quantifiable results
  • Experience working with WordPress or equivalent CMS
  • At least 3 years of experience managing an internal team or contract team
  • Experience doing basic design with software such as Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, etc. a plus

Work Schedule & Benefits:

  • The Digital Marketer will work at Avid4 Adventure’s office located at: 3200 Carbon Place, Boulder, CO and also has flexibility to work from home as needed.
  • Salary is commensurate with experience.
